2nd and 3rd Shift CNC Lathe Machinist and Programmer
Set-up, program, adjust and operate CNC (computer numeric controlled) lathes to perform close tolerance turning and cutting operations. Check inserts, change sizes and tools as needed. Frequently do quality check for consistent quality in production. Must understand and commit to company policies and procedures. Participate in cross training. Any other tasks or duties assigned by Supervisor. Mazak experience is a plus. Must have a demonstrated knowledge to operate and program CNC equipment in a safe and effective way. Able to communicate effectively to supervisors and co-workers any deviations on blueprints, department routings and shop travelers to specifications.
Requirements:
Minimum of two years of CNC machining experience or training preferred, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Some Saturday workdays may be required.
Compensation and Benefits:
Pay based on experience, ranging from $18.00 to $30.00 per hour.
